I know some of you love Monday’s Munchies, but I had to change it up today because it’s my blog’s 1st birthday today! YEAY!
I can’t believe it’s been 1 year – at times it feels like I just started this blog and yet sometimes it feels like I’ve been writing forever. When I started this blog, I could not have imagined the overwhelming love I’ve received from everyone.Β Whether you’re someone I’ve known my entire life or a complete stranger blogging from halfway around the world (shoutout to Sippingchai), I am SO thankful that you have made me a part of your routine. Your support means the world to me!
Since I’m a number-cruncher, some stats for you:
- The blog went from zero followers to over 200
- We are 3 months into the start of this year and Alhamdulilah, I have already had more than half of my entire viewership of last year.
- From March 2011 to February 2012, there has been nearly a 2000% increase in my monthly views! What the heck?! Is that even possible?! YEAY!
Nerdy fact about me: I still get just as excited as I did the first time one of you left a comment on my blog. Sometimes your comments/email make me smile all day π
I would like to thank you by hosting my first giveaway!

Hi Shaza,
Congratulation on your one year! Just want to say you are an amazing writer! I love reading your posts every morning! You have a very fun loving, humourous, real writing style, and it has me hooked. Keep writing! π
My favourite blog post was definitely the one called Hey, Soul Sister. Full of genuine emotions, love, well wishes, tears. It really touched me, as I have sisters of my own and bought back so many memories. Reminded me of how important they are to me and how much I love them. You had me all teary eyed! π

But really I love all your posts. They are all so helpful and come in so handy, starting from the DIY posts to all your fashion advices. Thank you!! You are absolutely awesome!
Ps. you should have a tumblr account! π

Hey Shaza,
Congrats on the 1 year of blogging. I came across you blog when my sister got engaged and we started to plan her wedding and I come back everyday for an update.
My fav post by far was Hey Soul Sister! I have 3 sisters and I could relate to everything that post was about. The youngest is getting married in a few months so we’re all extra emotional these days!
Congrats and good luck with your wedding but more importantly with your marrige!
